By choosing to donate to Tagsa Uibhist you are helping us to support elderly people, people with dementia, people who may be experiencing loneliness, and mental health difficulties or who need assistance to do basic things, like shopping and going to appointments.

Tagsa Uibhist is delighted to receive support from the business community in Uist and beyond. There are a number of ways your company, small or large, can support Tagsa Uibhist’s work. This can be very motivating and fulfilling for your employees and customers who will also appreciate the real difference your company is making to vulnerable people in Uist.

There are many ways in which you can support Tagsa Uibhist to fulfil your corporate social responsibility plans:

Gifts in Kind - In addition to funds, we also welcome the donation of equipment and materials, as well as the skills of your staff. This could be materials and equipment for our Community Gardens, supporting with maintaining our Community Transport fleet, or IT equipment. We would also be interested in businesses providing training to our staff as part of their CSR.

Employee Fundraising – If your employees would like to get organised to support Tagsa Uibhist, whether this is a sponsored event, or a bake sale, we are ready to give our encouragement and support.

Electric Vehicles for Community Transport – Support our efforts to replace our diesel vehicles with electric vehicles. This will allow us to provide a more cost-effective and sustainable service, thereby reaching more vulnerable people, and reducing social isolation.
